In the summer of 1978, I worked as a summer student in the Archives of Ontario library with the guidance and mentorship of Lynn. I was between my two MLS school years at the Faculty of Library Science. Lynn was a wonderful supervisor. She shared with me so much of her knowledge about the profession, especially the skill of research and cataloguing. She also assisted me with finding my first professional job after graduation.She was a cheerful, creative and kind individual. We kept in touch for many years, through my career, marriage, motherhood and as it sometimes happens, we lost touch at some point. She often spoke of her nieces and nephews. My condolences to her family.
