We send all of you our love and condolences on the loss of a woman who brought only love, laughter and nourishment to our family in our growing-up years! Aunt Betty, as I always knew her, was so loving to all of us wild Dembinsky girls and she and Uncle Rod were dearly beloved friends of my parents, Frank & Greta. Open arms, good food and a sense of humour are my strongest memories of Aunt Betty and I will never forget her smile! I suspect you all have memories of my Mom invading your home occasionally when your Mom needed her, and long ago I remember "baby-sitting" Cathy and Rod (Bimbo if you please) at the old cottage at Athapap and enjoying your wonderful swimming beach and the beautiful old boat. My younger sisters Karen, Judy & Lisa all have happy memories as well.
My Dad is so sad to think that Betty is no longer with him in this life and he sends all of you his love and gratitude for letting him know of her passing and keeping in touch with him. Your Dad was his best friend and soulmate, and your Mother was someone he loved and admired greatly!
