John and Mary were clients of mine when they sold their home in St. Catharines. My family have lived in this home since 1992. They had just celebrated a 25 wedding anniversary. I still feel that a part of them is in this home. They were great people and will not be forgotten. John I do hope that you have forgiven me for removing your lovely rose garden.RIPF2e7t

Deepest sympathy and condolences. I think of John and Mary often when listening to choral music and opera, and remember their wonderful hospitality and friendship.

Sending our condolences to friends and family on the passing of "John K. Coutts." John was so full of life and how fitting that a service will be held in Muskoka, the place he so loved!
God bless!

It's with great sadness but wonderful memories as we remember the life of John Coutts. We have always described him as the lovable curmugin next door on Portage Bay. We had so any good times with John and Mary over numerous dinner parties, church functions and just casual meeting at the end of the driveway. John, an avid reader of The Globe and Mail was always up to date on current affairs and prepared to defend his opinions. When we heard the news of John's death we took a moment to tank God for sharing the lives of John and Mary with us.
