Rev Rob Korsch posted a condolence

To Rev. Dr. Taul's family:
Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
My condolences to you on the loss of your father. He will be missed by many.
As a young, newly ordained pastor serving the English congregation at Christ, St. Catharines, I enjoyed each opportunity I had to talk to your father. He gave me sage advice and encouragement as a mentor in the office of the holy ministry. One Sunday afternoon he even invited me to join him in the Estonian divine service. Not understanding the words of the liturgy for clues as to what to do next he said to me "just follow me and do what I do." The Lord Jesus now bids your father to follow him through death to the resurrection and life eternal. The peace of Christ be with you all.

Rev. Taul holds a very special place in our family as the officiant at our wedding in 1986, our sons christening in 1991, our Mother in laws funeral in 1996 and father in laws in 2011. Rev. Taul greeted all of us with a warm smile, some humour and in the time of our grief much compassion. As a non-Estonian he also made sure to understand all he could about my background and family history. He was a fine example for the church and community. To his family we send our deepest condolences.
