Connie and I were childhood friends. I haven’t seen her in many years but I am sad to hear of her passing. I remember many days swimming in Pratt’s Pond and many (mis) adventures. We played duets together in the Northumberland Festival and remained friends after she went off to Havergal. Always a twinkle in her eye. - always up for a challenge. I am so sorry for your loss. Mary, Sandy and Lori: I was so saddened to hear Connie died last Saturday, Mary let me know. I had written to Connie just a few weeks ago, letting her know I would be in the city this summer, and would be down for a visit. I have not been in Toronto for a couple of years, so was anxious to have a get together with her. I admired Connie's courage over the past few years, and her determination to make things better. Lori - you were such a great support to Connie these past years, and you always welcomed me into Connie's home. I remember our great Christmas parties at Connie's - they were such fun with Sassy, Marnie, Mary and the Pratt gang. Biggest hugs to the three of you. I am sorry I am so far away and can not be there in person today and tomorrow, but you can be sure that I am there in spirit. Watch over us, Connie, and enjoy your next adventure in the great beyond. On behalf of the Havergal College Class of 1961, I would like to send our warmest thoughts, love and prayers to her family. She was always such a fun classmate and we all have such happy memories of Connie. I , myself, remember after graduation from Havergal, when she and I headed off to Western by train, from Port Hope/ Cobourg for our first day heading to Spencer Hall. What fun we had ! She will be missed by us all. She came to every reunion with smile:-) She was a good friend to so many We are happy she is at peace. With love from us all,,,the Class of '61
