Obituary of Edgar Charles Taylor

TAYLOR, Edgar Charles

April 15, 1932 – February 25, 2018

Ted passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital. Survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Stewart); his sister Patricia (Stephen); and his three children Charles (Judy), Mary, and David (Debbie). Grandfather to Emile, Pierre, Michelle, Chantal, Jonathan, and Scott. Great-grandfather to Abigail. Predeceased by his first wife, Barbara (Zimmer) and brother Fred. Ted worked for over 40 years at various positions with the Composers, Authors and Publishers Association of Canada – CAPAC (Later the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada – SOCAN). Special thanks to all the medical staff at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto General Hospital and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (South of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 4th. Funeral service to be held at OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 78 Clifton Road, Toronto.(St. Clair Avenue E. & Mount Pleasant Road) at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5th.
