I'm not sure whether it was all the things we were involved with at school, but Mary and I would go off into hysterical laughter quite often (especially in the church choir). Mary's face would get beet red and the teachers all knew who the culprit was, but she was so sweet they all forgave her. You couldn't help it.

Rob, Susan, Leslie, and Jamie,
Just by chance I met someone on the bus this afternoon from TEMC who checked out a query I made about a funeral in the church next week. What he found through his iPhone was the Humphrey website and the obituary for your dear mother.
As I read the tribute I was especially struck by mention of the hospitality Mary, and you father as well, extended to make all of us feel welcome in your home. We go back a long way and shared many good times, travelling, at the cottage, through church associations and at family occasions like your weddings and farewell to Stan Lucyk and Mary at Terra Cotta when they left for the church in Kingston.
And Jamie, you will remember the fish tank when you were being treated at the hospital so long ago. Some neighbourhood racoon had a good feast of gold fish when you got back to Lynwood. And Susan, Rob and Leslie, your parents always related your activities and achievements with gentle pride, and sometimes wonder!!
It is so hard to think that an era has passed and John and I want the four of you, your partners and your children to know the sympathy we have for you at this time. And we both feel the loss as well for so much that we shared with Mary and Keith.
With deep feelings of love for all of you at this time,
Anne and John pjGh7
