Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Culley
CULLEY, Mary Elizabeth (Lane)
September 16, 1928 – February 4, 2018
Passed away peacefully in her 90th year at Scarborough and Rouge Valley Hospital. Predeceased by husband Ross Culley. Mary was the eldest of Andrew and Jessie Lane’s four children, and is survived by her sister Agnes Campbell-Rogers and brothers Gordon (Hazel) and Ronald (Marian) Lane. She will be dearly remembered by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, Lane and Culley relatives and friends.
1950 graduate of Victoria College, University of Toronto, in honours English Language and Literature. Mary enjoyed a full and productive life. She taught English, Drama and Art in various high schools throughout the Scarborough Board of Education over a span of 35 years. She also taught at the DND schools in Germany in the late 50’s.
