I would like to add our feelings of sadness at the loss of an old, and good, friend "Sid"
Sue and I first met you Marion and Sid at the Couples Club at Eaton Memorial.around 1960. (Would you believe that was nearly 60 years ago? ) We always enjoyed knowing Sid and felt he was not only a good friend but a good example.
He will be missed, Marion, by you and your family but will live on in all your good and happy memories.
Keep well and I hope we will see you soon

My sincere condolences to Sid's family and friends. As one of my RMC seniors, a fellow navigator, and later a client when he was at Maclaren Engineering, Sid always impressed me with his strength of character and his engineering knowledge and managerial skills.
I had lunch with Sid and George Aldworth last May and was hoping to get together again
to discuss subjects of mutual interest, but time and fate have passed us by.
RIP, Sid

I had the great fortune of being hired by Sid fresh out of engineering school making Sid the first real boss of my professional career. His mentorship and professionalism left in indelible impression on me and set a high bar which I strive for as a leader in my current organization. I also met my wife Tania at MacViro. So Sid, you made a big impact on my life - I owe you a debt of gratitude. Deepest condolences to Marion and family. Sincerely, Mark & Tania

Dear Marion and family,
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Sid Gillespie. Sid was a good friend for a number of years while we were both members of the Fitness Institute. We used to have breakfast together virtually every weekday morning. We even had haircuts at the same barbershop. One will never meet a finer gentleman. As my wife and I decided to move to Kingston, Ontario in 2000, I only saw him a few times since then.
