I was heartbroken to hear of Fran's passing. I loved her from afar. She was very kind and supportive to me when I was a teen and was keen on pursuing a career in music. Fran was there for me when I was going through difficult times with my father. Until we meet again. love, David

My condolences to Fran's family. I worked with Fran for some years at MMAH. Fran was one in a million. Such a wicked sense of humour, such a human being! She carried me and the rest of her co-workers through many trying and often ludicrous moments by making us laugh, see the funny side of things. We shared her love for cats, and her own "nurse cat", who was a comfort to her in her illness, and many life stories we all shared as we worked together. I know the municipal association folk will miss her competent hand in organizing many conferences. I admired her ability to cover all the details!

I was very sorry to learn of Fran's passing from our mutual friend Jean Porter. Although I have not seen Fran for quite some time I have many fond memories of her and of when we worked together in the '70's. She, and you her family are in my thoughts and prayers. Though I have not seen Fran for a number of years, I have great memories of her at Queen Charlotte High School, the programs we all participated in at the YMCA and many places between.
