Dear Pamela, Eric & family and Greg & family Ravi called me the other day and shared the news of Gordon's passing. Sad news indeed. While life gets in the way of building on relationships, great memories never get old & are never forgotten. I'll always cherish the time I spent with Gordon & Pamela (you too Eric) at their home; talk about always feeling welcomed & there was always an abundance of beer in the fridge! Gordon was always the calming anchor who balanced Pamela's energetic personality; and despite getting on in his years, I always sensed a purpose & presence about him that left me thinking "he's probably forgotten more than I've ever learned"... Always remember the great journey he travelled with Pamela & the legacy he created. In policing, we have a saying that is fitting in times like these: Gordon will always remain a 'hero in life, not in death'. Hope we can meet up soon & raise a toast to a great man's memory.

Whenever I saw Gordon he always looked looked wonderful. He had the Perfect face and demeaner to be a judge..one couldn't imagine him being anything else. I remember his quiet humour and his automatic inclusiveness With everyone....a rare quality. And, because of Pamela, one knew when You were with them, a good time would Be had by all.
