Obituary of Mary Eleanore Wilson

WILSON, Mary Eleanore
May 2, 1920 – October 31, 2017

Mary passed away early Tuesday morning, October 31, 2017 in her “home town” Toronto.  Her heart gave out before her will to live.  Having just spent the 87th consecutive summer at her beloved Lake Simcoe home, she was making plans for next summer.  Her passion for golf and all her many friends enabled her to fully embrace life each day.  Mary was known for the gracious way she treated everyone she encountered.  She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Larry Liffiton, her daughter-in-law, Jan (Brian deceased) Wilson, her grandchildren Erin (Greg) Feltham and Katherine Liffiton, and Hillary (Brian) Best, Meredith (Tyler) Dadson and Paul (Carol-Anne) Wilson.  Her great grandchildren Marin, Maya, Maddie and Jack would have loved spending summers with her at the cottage.  A service in honour of Mary’s life will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
