I have so many fond memories of Alec Viola Sharon Joe and Deborah ~~ I'm so lucky to have a history with the Ellison family !!! I was welcomed, accepted, nurtured and unconditionally loved ~~ as a child and later as an adult, I felt a sense of home and family in theirs ~~ as I said, I'm so lucky to have had their love, their example of family and smart shared humour ~~ Alex, my surrogate dad, I love you and miss you so very much xoxox Always in my heart, along side Viola xx My love, Odette

Alec was a kind soul and a big part of the McSweeney Family. I'll always be grateful to him for his caring nature and patience during our formative years growing up. Alec was always interested in what was happening in my life and with the entire LaFontaine group. I'll never forget the rides back to downtown after partying with Sharon on a Friday or Sat night, while I attended Ryerson; the Sunday dinners and family gatherings. I'm so glad we were able to be together this summer and share a wonderful afternoon in Aurora with Val, Sharon, Maureen and Aidan. Natalie and I will remember him fondly, and keep his memory in our hearts. Peace be with you my Uncle Alec. sincerely Jim and Natalie LaFontaine
