Obituary of Guy Stephen Somers

SOMERS, Guy Stephen
February, 28 1947 – October, 19 2017

Guy died peacefully at Toronto General Hospital with his beloved wife Anastasia (Lemontzoglou) by his side.  He was the son of George Buchanan Somers and Marguerite Clark Somers.  The grandson of G. T. and Alice V. Somers and grandson of Lawrence and Winnifred Clark.  He was predeceased by his sister Susan S. Sinclair.  Guy was adored by his wife and love of his life Anastasia and their beloved pets Alani and Maggie.  Guy leaves his older brother George (Buck) Frederick Somers many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25th.  A service for family and friends will be held in the chapel on Thursday, October 26th at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.  A celebration of Guy's life for family and friends will follow on a later date.
