Martha will be greatly missed by all at the Seniors Centres at 840 Coxwell Avenue, Stan Wadlow Clubhouse and East York Meals on Wheels. She was so energetic and enthusiastic in all activities she supported. At Woodgreen she was the driving force in the ladies making mats from plastic milk bags for families in need of washable sleeping beds and for doctors to use as operating tables. In order to cover shipping costs the ladies knit and crochet handbags and diaper bags for regular and special orders under her supervision and close scrutiny. Any time Stan Wadlow held special functions, we could count on Martha gathering her cadre of friends and filling the hall with laughter and conversation. Although I didn't often deliver her meals, we would get caught up with our news and looked forward to the next opportunity to chat.
My deepest sympathies for your loss and I regret Martha's untimely passing.
