Obituary of Vincent Manuele

MANUELE, Vincent Anthony (Vincenzo Antonio)

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.  Beloved husband of Donna and caring father of Vincent Edward.  Dear son of the late Orazio and Concettina Manuele, dear brother of Rosetta Serraino and Maria Lucas.  Vincent was predeceased by his brother Gaetano in 1995.  Vincent was born on February 2, 1938 on the island of Favignana, Italy and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1958.  He attended the University of Toronto and earned a bachelor of Science degree in 1963, he also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1967 and in 1973 he became a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario.  Vincent was a passionate, brilliantly intelligent and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed.  The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14th.  A funeral service will be held in ANNUNCIATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY PARISH, 3 Combermere Drive, on Friday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
