John and Marian I am so sorry to learn of Joan's passing. No matter how old we are, how established and independent we are, there is such an incredible void when our parents pass away. While we know this day will come, it doesn't quite seem possible. I can only guess, but I imagine that the spirits of Bill, Russ and Ruth were there to greet her when she passed. Joan was a woman of strength and fortitude, compassion and generosity. She held on to a real joy for life. She was a very dear and loving friend to Ruth. I will remember her fondly. Susan

I have many fond memories of Joan at Sanderson's. She was a beautiful lady who always had a lovely smile and disposition. Joan was extremely talented and designed many layouts for future wallpapers and fabrics. She worked tirelessly and brought such joy to everyone around her. She will be terribly missed by family, friends and colleagues. Dianne
