Obituary of Dorothy Louise McClure
DOROTHY LOUISE McCLURE (NEE FRASER)
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy at her home in Toronto, on Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was born in Fredericton, N.B., the second daughter of William and Hazel Fraser, on June 16, 1917. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, G. Chester McClure, of 64 years, her parents and her two sisters, Helen Belyea and Muriel Wallace, both of Fredericton. She was a loving “Auntie Dott” to her sisters’ children, “Banny” and Eldon Belyea, Nancy Godin (John), and Cindy Randall (Doug) and their children. She was a graduate of the Fredericton High School and the N.B. Provincial Normal School. She taught in rural N.B. for two years and then entered and graduated from the Ottawa Civic Hospital School of Nursing, a nursing career of 30 years. She was a member of the Timothy Eaton Memorial Church for 50 plus years. The funeral service will be held in the Reception Room of TIMOTHY EATON MEMORIAL CHURCH, 230 St. Clair Avenue West on Thursday, June 15th at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Rural Cemetery, Fredericton, N.B.
