I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Plaxton's death. He was a wonderful caring vet to my dogs. He also was the only vet that I knew who was open to homeopathy and alternative treatments which I believe in for animals as well as people. He always took time to talk with me about my dogs and never rushed the appointments as many vets do. I hope his family and friends can find peace in their beautiful memories. Rest in peace Dr. Plaxton.

I was so saddened to hear of Kevin's passing via the CVO newsletter today. I knew Kevin in OVC being a year senior to him and having assisted teaching large animal anatomy labs for his class. I lost touch with him only having known that he practiced for a time out of Renforth AH. My condolences to his family.

Sending our deepest condolences & prayers of love & healing to the family.
Our friendship with Kevin (Dr Plaxton) began a long time ago at Renforth... such a kind-hearted, gentle & compassionate man. Soon we started talking about his passion for photography & travel & our friendship blossomed from there.
Having Birthdays close to one another, we got together for dinner to celebrate ... giving us a chance to meet his beautiful wife too (although we hadn't done that for years)
We'll always remember his story of the "buffet challenge" that gets a laugh whenever we share it.
We'll cherish you forever Kevin. Rest in peace

Words can describe how I felt when I learned of Kevin's passing. I grew up with Kevin, worked with him across Canada at the fair and many of my firsts as a teenager were with him. It was no surprise that we was a groomsman at my wedding. Kevin would do anything for his friends.
It times like this I try and reflect on my happy times with him - well, Kevin was definitely one of the smartest people we hung out with, well smarts did not apply to cars. He has just purchased his first car. It was a used vehicle and Kevin was really happy about it. It was a good car but several months in one of us were looking at the tires and noticed they looked almost bald. It seems Kevin didn't know that cars needed service or tires changed. It seems he thought cars just needed gas. We busted a gut laughing and he did too. Kevin could always laugh at himself.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences. Dr. Kevin Plaxton was truely one of a kind. Such a loving, talented, smart, funny and caring man. He adored his family more then anything. He glowed everytime he talked about Alexzandra, the light of his life and apple of his eye. Carmela his wife, his life partner, his one true love - he spoke so highly of you and always made note of all the omportant dates you two shared together. He was a very proud husband and Pappa.
Dr. Kevin you will be missed tremendously by all. You were truely a marvelous man. We all know you will be continuing to watch over your friends and family from your place with God just as you did here on earth.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Kevin's passing. We feel very blessed having known him for over 30 years. Our hearts go out to Carmela, Lexi and the rest of Kevin's family.
We were some of the fortunate recipients of many, many phone calls over the years on our birthdays and other special occasions. We remember enjoying many wonderful brunches with Kevin in years gone by and hearing about his many trips and getting to see some amazing photos of where he had been since the last time we saw him.
