PICKERING, Ellen Margaret

Passed away in her 91st year at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on May 27, 2017.  Cherished wife of Art for over 50 years. Predeceased by her sister Edna Aikins.  Much loved aunt of Joan Garson, Jean Mendez, Kevin Mahoney, Suzie Nelson, Walter Large, Earl Large and Brian Pickering.  Great aunt to Luis Mendez, Scott Garson and Andrea Mikulich.    Great, great aunt to Benjamin and Alexander Garson, and Olivia and Abigail Mikulich.  Sister-in-law to Shirley Pickering, George Pickering (Kay), and Iris Nelson.  Ellen was a dedicated social worker for the Children’s Aid Society and the Traveler’s Aid Society.  In her later years, Ellen worked at Davisville Public School in their after-school program.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband to many different countries. A funeral service will be held in HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W.
