Obituary of Margaret Terese Calderone

CALDERONE, MARGARET TERESE - (nee CIRA) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on Wednesday, March 28, 2017 at the age of 90 years surrounded by her loving family. Dear daughter of the late Giuseppe and Antonina Cira, beloved wife of the late Frank, predeceased by her daughter Janet, loving mother of Gus (Carol Anne), John (Pamela), son in law Joseph (Silva) Corona, grandchildren Lisa (Michael West), Michael (Elizabeth Calderone), Jessica, Jenna Calderone, Jamie, Matthew Corona, great grandchildren Keira, Henry Calderone. Margaret is survived by her sister Dorothy Polito (the late Joseph), and sister in law Yolanda Cira (the late Charles Cira). Predeceased by her brothers Joseph (Helen), Sal (Irene), Vince (Eleanor), Peter (Gertrude), sisters Mary (Jack Sgarlata), and Agatha (John Altilia). Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A special thanks is extended to her caregiver Julieta, for her dedicated care and support of our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to SickKids Hospital in her memory.
