Obituary of Elizabeth Susanne Vowles

<p><strong>VOWLES, Elizabeth Susanne (n&eacute;e Staples)</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 in her 92nd year.&nbsp; Beloved wife of 62 years and best friend of Harding Vowles (deceased).&nbsp; Lovingly remembered by sons Douglas and his wife Ann, and Robert and his wife Kristina, and as Nana to their daughters, Juliana and Ariana. Sister to Joan (deceased), and her husband Howard, and aunt to their children David, Carolyn, and Catherine. Sister-in-law to Bruce (deceased) and his wife Verna (deceased), and aunt to their sons Jim and David.&nbsp;&nbsp; Through her long teaching career, Elizabeth touched thousands of lives.&nbsp; Known for her sense of humour, religious conviction, and dedication to family, she was our rock.&nbsp; A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be missed.&nbsp;&nbsp; A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in NORTHLEA UNITED CHURCH, 125 Brentcliffe Road on Saturday, April 22nd, with a reception to follow.&nbsp; If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Bible Society or The World Wildlife Fund (Canada).&nbsp; Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.</p>
