Obituary of Margot Aird

<p><strong>MARGOT KNOX AIRD</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>Margot passed away peacefully at The Kensington Hospice in Toronto on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.  Devoted wife of Alexander (Sandy) Aird.  Beloved mother of Wendy (John), Bill (Marianne), Linda (Murray) and Pippa (Rob).  Adoring grandmother of Alexander, Alison, Matthew, James, Austin, Emlyn and Gigi and her great-granddaughter, Ully.  Sister of Phyllis Firth and Wilson McLean.</p> <p> </p> <p>Margot will be cherished for her dignity, her courage, her kindness and her grace.</p> <p> </p> <p>A celebration of Margot’s life will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in ST. ANDREW’S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 73 Simcoe Street (corner of King Street and Simcoe Street).  Following the service a reception will take place at The York Club, 135 St. George Street.  If desired, donations to The Kensington Hospice, 38 Major Street, Toronto M5S 2L1, would be greatly appreciated.  The family are incredibly grateful for the care and kindness shown by the doctors, nurses and volunteers at the Hospice.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.</p>
