Len and I had a lot in common. Both our fathers, Len Sr. and Ken Sr. were hard tackling and skilled players for the Toronto Argonauts. Len and I weighed 140 pounds and were poor football players, much to father's chagrin. We were on the UCC 2nd team. We did try hard!!!! We also attended Waterloo Lutheran University together and had many wild and silly adventures.
In the late 1950's, Janet and her mother welcomed us (awkward) teenagers to her home on Dunloe Avenue, where we learned how to Twist to Chubby Checker and socialize. As Janet and Len's relationship grew, my visits diminished. Those days will be missed!!!!! We all loved and admired Leonard. He will be greatly missed!! LOVE TO YOU JANET AND FAMILY in your time of grief and always.

Dear Betsy,
I was greatly saddened to learn of Lenny's death. It seems just yesterday that we were all young kids wondering what our lives held in store and having a great time in the process.
Please pass on my condolences to Len's wife and family and I send you my sincere sympathies.
With very best regards and much love,
Julie

Janet,
The joy that you and Lenny brought to our lives is a treasure that I shall always cherish.
I know that you must be devastated, but time will heal all.
Be brave and take it day by day. If I can do ANYTHING for you I will.
Even just a conversation.
Love always
Doug

Dear Janet,
It has been some time since the fun days with Betsy Bell, Big Bay and other adventures.
I am so sorry that we have lost Len, a guy who I remember fondly and with great respect.
Our family travels seem to have severed ties over the years but I simply wanted to send my sincere condolences. We have lost a good man.
Fond regards,
"Duke"
