Dear Rob,
Your Mom and Dad were so close to us, so supportive of our marriage, our children, and all the animals we would bring to visit. Bud and John were so alike in their ability to build and fix anything. Aunt Jan loved our visits and cards with photos of the children, and we really enjoyed their visiting us at the cottage near Renfrew.
The love that they shared was a testament to all, a marriage made in heaven.
We know that they are together again.
Thank you Rob for being such a great son, and supporting them both.

Dear Rob and Family:
We are so sorry for your loss. Justin and I enjoyed being entertained in Janet's living room, listening to her stories of her life. Justin loved that she was a teacher whose students, though all grown up, would still write beautiful cards and letters which she proudly displayed on her mantle.
We loved viewing the pictures which were testimony to her selfless work with underprivileged children faraway. She looked so happy in those pictures. Justin appreciated the books she gave him.
When I called to arrange to visit, she would say, "Any day but not on Sunday. Rob's coming over on Sunday." I would tell her, "I know, Janet. Sunday's Rob's day."
Janet was so proud of Bud's legacy in the neighbourhood - he built so many homes with quality and care and his life was one of a fine example.
Janet's wish was to occupy her own home right to the end. As with so many other goals she set her mind to, she accomplished that.
As you grieve, please take heart. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." - Matthew 5:4
