We knew Warren from seeing him around the neighbourhood and first met him at Second Cup 15 years ago. Warren was a true gentlemen. A genuine and thoughtful person who treated everyone with respect and kindness. We will miss his warm and friendly smile and will chershish our memories of him forever. Warren made a difference in our lives by teaching us what is truly important in life.
We send our heartfelt condolences to Warren's family.

My heart-felt sympathy to Warren family. For numerous years he assisted me with numerous funerals and did so with dignity, grace and a professionalism second to none. Indeed we would see each other at the Second Cup and share our common interests. I will miss his gentleness and friendship. Heaven is a little more personal now that Warren is there. May you all experience the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Comforter that Jesus promised
I sincerely regret that a previous commitment prevents me from attending his service
and reception afterwards.

Warren, your great stories were always a delight and reason to laugh. Despite your illness you continued to love life and bring a smile to others. Having lost my sister the day before your departure from this world, maybe the two of you will meet in a better place without suffering and pain.
Rest in peace

Our sincere thoughts and prayers to all members of Warren's extended family.
Colleen and I got to know Warren through good friends Catherina Maughan and David Tyrell. Our meeting places where either McSorely's bar or Starbucks...with a heavy emphasis on the bar.
We never knew Warren before he was sick, and not in pain. In spite of that Warren was always in good spirits..and always a source of good stories. We will miss his keen and subtle wit. Both Colleen feel fortunate for having known him and mourn his passing.
Sincerely,
Colleen and Brian Foy

Weeks ago, at the Granite Club. A favourite dining spot of Warren's where he often bumped into people he knew. He regaled the staff with trivia and complements. Ever the gentleman.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Warren had a vast knowledge of protocol and always knew the right thing to say and do in any situation.
I hope his family at home and at Humphrey take comfort in knowing how many lives he changed for the better.
