Obituary of Meredith Stockwell

STOCKWELL, Kathleen Ann Meredith At Peterborough, Ontario on Friday, January 27, 2017 in her 74th year. Daughter of the late John Cawthra and Kathleen Florence (née Denney). Born and raised in Toronto, Meredith graduated a Registered Nurse from Toronto General Hospital, where she worked in various departments during her 25-year career. As a young woman, Meredith was an avid skier and a sometime sailor. She loved to travel, visiting the Canadian East, West and the Arctic, taking holidays in Florida, the Bahamas and Hawaii, and visiting relatives in Scotland and Saskatchewan. Meredith cared deeply for the well-being of her of her friends and family. Lovingly remembered by brother John, sister Jane, brother-in-law Thomas Iacona, cousins Alec Stephenson, Paul (Nancy) Stephenson and Elizabeth (Harry) Meikle, extended family and dear friends. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) for a service in the chapel on Monday, February 6th at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
