Obituary of Margaret Madill

MARGARET (“PEGGY”) MADILL (nee Charlwood) On Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto. Born on March 4, 1923 in Grimsby, Ontario. Peggy was the youngest of seven children. Predeceased by her much-loved brother Dennis and three siblings tragically taken together in childhood in Nova Scotia and also twin sisters taken in infancy in London, England. Devoted wife for 64 years to Robert. Loving mother to John (Lorraine), Marie and Di-Anne. Much loved grandmother of Kim, Mike, Philip and Ian. In mid-life Peggy qualified as an RNA. A Girl Guide Captain. Volunteer to Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Unit and Cummer Lodge. A member of Forest Grove United Church since 1963. A funeral service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. following a private family interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
