Obituary of Dr. John Chilton Selke

SELKE, Dr. John Chilton It is with much sadness that the family announces the passing of Dr. John Chilton Selke DVM on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, one week short of his 97th birthday. Chilton is survived by his loving children Michael (Elaine), John (Medy), Frank (Robin) and Larry (Susan) and grandchildren Maurino Berry (Katie), Christopher (Suyen), Elizabeth (Isham), Andrew (Angela), Chantal, Jerry and Sean, as well as great-grandchildren Taliana and Chilton. Also survived by sisters Audrey (Sister Enid, S.J.), Delphine, Geraldine and sister-in-law Mary Gibbons. Chilton was predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine (Gainer), daughter Audrey, sisters Blanche, Evelyn, brother Frank Jr. and brother-in-law Donald Gibbons. The family especially wishes to thank Hansen Ucab and Izza Asis for their outstanding care of Dad in his final years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26th. Mass of Christian Burial to be held in ST. ANSELM CHURCH, 1 MacNaughton Road on Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. Private interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
