We learned of John's passing when we met for a mini Northwestern General Hospital preChristmas dinner. Still in shock, we honoured Dr. Treilhard with a toast and then proceeded to share stories of our time with him in the ER. John was a beautiful and humble gentleman. His passing will leave a large void amongst his family, friends, the medical community and his patients.
His funeral was a befitting tribute to a life well lived. I bet he would have loved the hymns.
