I was blessed to have known Dr. Robinson, over my 30 plus years of Nursing at SMH.
He was the most compassionate, kindest, professional and understanding Dr., I have ever known.
He will be GREATLY missed by all of us.
Dr. Robinson will never be forgotten.
May his family take comfort in knowing, he will forever live in our hearts!

My heart sunk when I heard the sad news, so late. Dr. Robinson was an amazing human being and physician; not to mention a great boss. He respected everyone regardless of their status or position. I had the utmost respect for him from the first day I met him at St. Michael's Hospital. I am so glad that I was able to speak to him just a few weeks ago. I can still hear his calm, positive, sweet and polite voice. He will be truly missed. His soul will be surrounded by Angels above. Condolences to Mrs. Robinson and family.

I will miss your warm smiling and asking if I am keeping out of trouble. You welcomed us when we transferred from the Wellesley hospital and was always respectful and trusting of the vascular nurse. I will miss every so often bumping into you at the hospital

We have just learnt that Dr. Robinson has passed away this morning while taking my dad for a replacement battery for a pacemaker. My dad insisted to see and asked to see Dr. Robinson and to find out he has passed on.
A lot of emotions and tears had filled my dad's eyes as both parents were patients of Dr. Robinson. I think I need not say more as his tears said enough.
Dr. Robinson was a polite and quiet gentleman that was truly remarkable.
God bless your beautiful soul, rest in peace!

I have known Trevor for a long time. He was a gentleman in the true sense of the word, always polite and considerate. We shared a mutual interest in echocardiography. We met at different meetings and he always impressed me with his curiosity and strong desire for new knowledge. I am greatly saddened by his passing.

This is such very sad news. I loved Dr. Robinson. He had to be one of the best people in the universe that I've worked for. He had the best bedside manner, he was a complete joy to work for and his patients thought the WORLD of him. Medicine has truly lost a brilliant mind today. My father (J. Douglas MacFarlane) had a life-changing heart attack while 'editorial director' at the 'Toronto Sun', in 1979, and that is how he came to know Dr. Trevor Robinson. Later on, somehow 'JDM' beat the odds, surviving other serious episodes that were handled by the then Mississauga Hospital (a matter of proximity in an emergency), until 1995. ... For the MacFarlane family (Mom, and I have a twin), Trevor was a 'household name', and my father, a gentleman of few yet carefully chosen words, always regarded appointments with Trevor at St. Mike's as kind of 'going home'. Without going on about it, it was obvious that Trevor and he really got along. I think that I met Dr. Robinson on one occasion when I drove my father to an appointment. ... My condolences to family and colleagues. He clearly leaves a void in many lives, in many ways.
