Obituary of Forrest "Ben" Porter

PORTER, Forrest 'Ben' Passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, Toronto, Ontario. Ben was born January 27, 1925 in Alma, Nova Scotia. Loving father to Laura Lee (Nigel), Sheree and Mary. Predeceased by his dear wife Alice, his sister Grace, brothers Bob, Jim, Murray and Ross. Ben will be lovingly remembered by family and friends for his positive outlook, enthusiasm, sense of humour, love of sports and music. A service for Ben will be held at noon on Friday, November 25th in MANOR ROAD UNITED CHURCH (240 Manor Road East), with a reception to follow.
