Obituary of Norma Louise Billes

<p><strong>BILLES, Norma Louise (nee Cole)</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Peacefully at her home in Toronto on Monday, November 14, 2016 in her 88^th year.&nbsp; Beloved wife of the late Alfred Dickson (Dick).&nbsp; Loved mother of Rob (Stephanie) and Ann (David White).&nbsp; Dear Nan of Graham and Andrew White.&nbsp; She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and her many friends.&nbsp; A native Torontonian, Norma enjoyed a full life raising her family in Don Mills, working with Dick to build and operate their Canadian Tire Store at Kennedy Road and Lawrence Avenue, and sharing many happy retirement years with Dick, cottaging and boating in Muskoka, and golfing in Atlantis, Florida.&nbsp; Norma&rsquo;s family would like to thank Alma, Celsa and Jemalyn of Gentle Care Health Services for the compassionate care provided over the past three months, which respected her wish to remain in her home.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES &ndash; NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 7:00 &ndash; 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 24^th.&nbsp; Service in the chapel on Friday, November 25^th at 1:00 p.m., with a reception following.&nbsp; If desired, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.&nbsp; Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.</p>
