Barb was an extraordinary person, and we will always remember her as loving and caring. We have many fond memories of Barb in Toronto and at the lake, and her home was always open and inviting. My condolences to the family on Barb's passing. Such a wonderful, long life she had!
I was Barb's computer helper/consultant, helping her with her iPad. She so loved to keep tabs on the golf and tennis, do her grocery shopping, play the odd game, check her emails and take the occasional gander at Google Maps!
Barb was an amazing woman. I was very proud of what she learned over the time of my tutelage. She was fearless and always had lots of questions. I bragged about her to all of my clients who thought that they couldn't do something on their computers or devices, telling them just how savvy she was at over 93 years old! Barb was proof positive that we can do whatever we put our minds to, regardless of what the numbers on the birthday cake say ;o)
It was indeed a pleasure to know her and to assist in keeping her connected to all that she loved and all whom she cared about.
Rest in peace, dear Barb........
