Obituary of Blanche Gilligan

GILLIGAN, Blanche 1914 - 2016 It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Blanche Gilligan on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in her 102nd year. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Salima, her husband Frank, her brothers George and Philip, and her sisters Anne, Joan and Marion. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her children Betty, Kevin and Michael,her daughter-in-law Judy and son-in-law Andrew, her granddaughters Katherine, Laura and Melanie, her grandsons John and Shawn, and her entire extended family. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Monica’s Church, 44 Broadview Avenue (east of Yonge), Toronto. Blanche's family wishes to thank the dedicated people at Belmont House. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Belmont House Foundation would be appreciated.
