Obituary of Kathleen Brett

BRETT, Kathleen F. Peacefully after a brief illness at Mount Sinai Hospital on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 87 years of age. She is survived by her children Desmond and Tracy Brett, and grandchildren Jessica and David Brett-Caccia. Predeceased by her husband, Carl, of 54 years. Born in County Cork, Ireland in 1929, she was educated there and worked in Ireland before immigrating to Canada with Carl in 1954. While raising a family, she embarked on a lifelong journey as a primal therapist, only retiring as a practitioner at age 83. Fondly remembered by her large group of friends, many of whom were clients. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) for a reception on Tuesday, October 4th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Rosedale Room.
