Janice and Marilyn and Family. It is so sad hear that your father and my uncle Alex has past away. He lived a good long life and it was good to have the opportunity to visit with him last September. His distinctive voice and his manner was everything that I remember when he came to visit not only when I was young but over the years. It brings tears to my eyes when I think of the good memories of those visits. I hope you are managing well considering the circumstances. Because Uncle Jim, Aunt Marg, and my father died much younger than Alex I didn’t think that Steele could make it into their nineties. There still might be hope that I can make it that long. Janice, Marilyn and family, Please accept my condolences at the loss of you dad. I'm so sorry this day has come. Your dad had a great life and lived it to the fullest. We had many good holidays over the thirty years since we met. My family all loved Alex and considered him part of the family. Even my nephews , who are now grown men, remember Alex and I taking them to Casa Loma then out for dinner. Giving them five bucks, as they would say, whenever they saw him. Great memories.
