Obituary of June Esaw

JUNE LORRAINE ESAW 1927 - 2016 With great sadness, we say goodbye to a truly wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. June passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, in her 89th year, at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Beloved wife of the late Johnny Esaw, loving mother of Wendy Esaw Davis (Gary), Patrick Esaw (Marg), special gammy to Kathryn Esaw (Dean Latham) and great grandson John, Laura Esaw (Dave Doharris), Julia Davis and Natalie Davis. June was born and grew up in the small farming community of Liberty, Saskatchewan. She taught school before marrying Johnny in Regina and moved to Winnipeg, and then Toronto where she raised her family. A beautiful person both inside and out, she exuded grace and kindness. A true daughter of Saskatchewan to the end. Predeceased by sister Hazel and brother Gord, June will be missed by her extended family and friends. And a special thank you to all for their friendship and support. June will rest together with Johnny at St. James Cemetery, Toronto. A memorial celebration will take place at a later date.
