GEORGE F. ENGLAND WWII Veteran, swimmer, and sports fanatic passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2016, in his 91st year. Survived by his wife Muriel. Proud father of seven children and grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. George was predeceased by his first wife Roberta. Remembered also by his sister, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7th. Visitation on Wednesday, June 8th from 10:00 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
