My sister and Jules were your 'girls'. Your sudden departure has left a huge hole in their hearts and in the hearts of those who knew and loved you. Dahl told me that every time the elevator door opens she expects to see you...may your memory be a blessing יהי זכרו ברוךץ

We are terribly saddened by the news that beautiful Brian King has passed away. Twenty-three years ago, as a nervous bride, he consoled me with a meditation narrative on new born fawns frolicking in quiet spring meadows..."Pretend I'm Bambi, dear!" Every few years when we would catch up, we could always giggle at the Bambi reference. Weddings, Baptisms, birthdays and funerals; Brian elevated every event for us with his brilliance and sensitivity. Our deepest condolences are yours.

We at Fife House are deeply saddened to hear of Brian's passing. Brian was an early volunteer at Fife , in fact was one of the founding Board members. His generosity and creative passion was renowned in Toronto and he was no less generous and supportive to Fife. On behalf of the current and past Board, staff, volunteers and clients we extend our deepest condolences to Paul, Daphne and Simon. Brian will be missed as will the class and style he brought to any event. Sincerely, Keith Hambly Fife House

Paul, I was so sorry to hear about Brian. I think Lorraine & I only met him once many years ago at a TSO concert but over the years I have heard a lot about him from you and felt I knew him to some extent. Please extend my sympathies to your mother. This must be a tough time for both of you.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of dear Brian. Chad Brincheski & I, Valerie Bain wish to send our heartfelt condolences to everyone at a la Carte and to Brian's extended family. I could hardly believe his passing could be true when I was told yesterday as Brian has always been such a fixture & staple in the industry for so, so many years and to so, so many of us. From when I first met Brian in 1987 he was a true gentleman and an amazing host and always had time to share his stories and wealth of knowledge. I always looked up to him and the company. Catering company's actually owe a lot to Brian & Simon because back in the day (early 80's) there really wasn't too much choice, a la Carte was always on the leading edge of innovation & trends and I had such great respect for the company, Brian & Simon. Boy oh Boy Toronto has come a long way in our industry and much of it due to your King,......Mr. Brian J. King. R.I.P. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Valerie & Chad.
