Obituary of George Reid

REID, George Thomas (Tway) 1925 - 2016 Died at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, aged 91, after a fall at home. He was loved and will be missed by Brenda, his wife of 70 years, son Douglas, daughter Pamela, daughter-in-law Barb Taylor, son-in-law Jack Fell, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Ruth and George T. Reid Sr. and brothers John and Marshall. Tway attended Upper Canada College before joining the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII and then worked in the family lumber business. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and his incredible love of golf! A service for family and friends will be held in ROSEDALE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 129 Mt. Pleasant Road, Toronto, on Saturday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, any donation made to Rosedale Presbyterian Church, or gifts to the charity of your choice would be gratefully accepted.
