Obituary of Olive Banks

BANKS, Olive Elizabeth B. - Born in Shelburne, ON, July 15, 1919 At Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence, Markham on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Beloved daughter of the late Earl and Cifylia Banks. Sister to James, Albert Russell (Winnifred) and Kenneth (Sybil). Olive will be sadly missed by nieces Barbara Lenius (John) and Sharon Banks-Jeffrey (Neil), nephew William (Loula) Banks, great-nephew Joel and great-nieces Andra, Michelle and Jennifer. Olive worked for many years at Connaught Laboratories in Toronto and North York. During her long and active retirement she enjoyed reading, travel, curling, spending summers at the cottage at Wasaga Beach, playing cards and following the Blue Jays. She lived for 47 years at her apartment in mid-town Toronto prior to moving to Woodhaven. Thanks to the Woodhaven LTC for their loving care. Private arrangements.
