SHAW, Ian Frederick April 27, 1950 - March 9, 2016 The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Ian Frederick Shaw on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. He was born in Hawkesbury, Ontario on April 27, 1950. Son of Frederick Shaw and Edith (McMath) of St. Lambert, Quebec. Loving husband of Patricia, devoted father of Catherine (Seth Chitayat), Mary Anne (Daniel Shaw-Cosman) and Jennifer. Supportive grandfather to Sarah, Benjamin, Emilina, Christopher and Serenity. The funeral service will be in the chapel at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22nd. Please join us upstairs in the Leaside and Rosedale rooms for a reception following the service. A Celebration of Life will take place at PRESTEIGN WOODBINE UNITED CHURCH (16 Presteign Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4B 3A8) on Tuesday, March 22nd from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Reflections at 8:00 p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please volunteer in your community and/or take your sweetie to dinner.
