Heath, Kenneth Rodney Born August 31, 1927 in England and emigrated to Canada in 1957. After a long battle with cancer, Kenneth died peacefully surrounded by family at St. Michael's Hospital on March 12, 2016. Survived by his loving wife Edna (nee Spice) of 67 years, sons Julian (Danielle Boyer) and Laurence (Brock Cooper), granddaughters Emily (Max Lafontaine) and Charlotte (Sean Brooks) and great-granddaughter Geneviève. Predeceased by son Gregory Clive and grandson Matthew George. Longtime member of the Basilian Lay Associates, former Extraordinary Minister at Holy Redeemer Church, Pickering and Nursing Home Chaplin. A lover of opera, ballet and all the fine arts. An accountant and former gallery owner. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16th. Funeral at ST. BASIL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 50 St. Joseph Street on Thursday, March 17th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
