Obituary of Mildred Donaldson

Mildred (Molly) Georgina Donaldson June 21, 1915 - March 5, 2016 Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Mildred (Molly) Georgina Donaldson on March 5th in her 101st year. Molly was predeceased by her parents William Donaldson and Mary Prentice Donaldson, her sister and best friend Mary Loriaux, and her brother-in-law Henri Loriaux. Molly leaves her devoted and loving nieces, Louise Mathers (Terence), Patricia Muir (Tom), Jean Barford (Mack) as well as her adoring and adored grand-nieces and nephews, Lauren and Christopher Muir, and Jessica and Harrison Barford. Molly held a very special place in her heart for her grand-nieces and nephews. We all felt incredibly blessed to have Molly in our lives. Molly lived to celebrate her 100th birthday with family and friends, on June 21, 2015. What an incredible accomplishment for a woman who survived kidney cancer at age 52, along with many debilitating afflictions through her 100 years of life. WELL DONE MOLLY! We celebrate your intelligence, resilience, tenacity and desire to kick butt (especially ours)!! Over the course of the last 19 years, Molly developed many wonderful friendships at Bradgate Arms. Our family would like to thank the many caregivers who assisted Molly through the years, and in particular the caring staff at Bradgate Arms. A visitation for friends and family will be held at BRADGATE ARMS, 54 Foxbar Road, on Thursday, March 10th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Parking available on Foxbar Road until 4:00 p.m.). Keeping with Molly's wishes, cremation has taken place and a family funeral service will be held at a later date.
