Obituary of Robert Williams
We have lost a great friend, mentor, relative, and godfather.
A lover of music, theatre, tennis, dogs, movies, musicals, travel, Coronation Street, Downton Abbey, and all general naughtiness, Bob is irreplaceable. Born in Wolsley Grove, Greater London, Bob was the youngest child of John and Amy Elizabeth Williams (brother to Jack and Peg, predeceased). He grew up in Cricklewood, North London, and attended Northhampton Polytechnic, part of the University of London. He was a navigator in the Royal Air Force, and moved to Toronto when it was still called "Toronto the Good". A successful businessman, Bob had an extensive network of those who loved him. Despite a lengthy illness, he never gave up and continued to live life to the fullest until the end. He will be sadly missed by oh so many, too many in fact to list. That was one of the wonderful things about Bob, he always made you feel special and for those he did, you know who you are. Farewell Captain Bob!
A Celebration of Life for Bob will be hosted at the Boulevard Club at a later date. Donations if so desired would be welcomed at Princess Margaret and Prostate Cancer Canada. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.
