To the Armstrong Family: I'm very sorry to read of the loss of your loved one. During times like these it's all to easy to feel helpless and without hope. When my family and I experience tragedy of this sort we often turn to the scriptures for endurance. Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time when death will be a thing of the past and our loved ones will be reunited with us. Continue to beg God for endurance until that time comes.

I've worked with Laura for several years at CAMH. I can't say I knew her well personally outside of work, but from the character displayed at the workplace, I found her to be a genuine, kind person. Friendly without a fault, and always thinking of others first. I really appreciated knowing her in even this limited capacity. My condolences to her family, and close-knit circle of friends who knew her best.

I wish I had time to get to know Laura more. I loved her sense of enquiry and her strong desire to make a difference is this world. Her eyes had a remarkable sparkle to them, one that spoke of a sparkly life. I am thinking of you with love and hugs, Sylvia and Sherry.

Dear Laura,
Whenever I think of you - I always remember that picture with you and the baby goats. You and I would spend many hours looking at baby animal photos and giggling. You had an infectious laugh and from you I learned the phrase 'Stranger Danger!!' and whenever I use it, I smile and think of you.
You were a great person to work with and be around - you were professional, positive and always were a true advocate for the many people you helped. Your enthusiasm for life and love for learning were a joy to be around. You will be remembered in the most beautiful way possible by me, the people you worked with, those you helped and by your friends and family: how good you made them feel by simply being around you.
