Obituary of Lucille Parrish

LUCILLE RUBY PARRISH April 16, 1935 - January 15, 2016 Lucille, a world traveller and beloved partner and friend of the late Vince Lucca, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by friends and caregivers. Lucille lived a full and productive life and dedicated 35 years to teaching in Hamilton and Toronto, touching the lives of many children who remember her fondly. Many thanks to nurse Dusanka, her team of palliative support workers, and the doctor who helped make the last days before Lucille's final journey comfortable. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES - NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) for a memorial service on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, the Canadian Cancer Society or, World Vision.
