I never met Joy but as a fourteen-year-old Alouette football fan I had a major crush on her. She was so beautiful and alive as the lead majorette leading the marching band down University St after an Als game to the "St.Louis Blues." Her smile lighting up the whole world it seemed. I was happy to read that she had a full, wonderful life.Never forgot her. Sincere condolences to her family.

I was very sad to see the notice in the Globe this morning for Joy McMaster.I knew Joy for many years when we worked on the Mayfair Flea Market during the 1980s and early 90s.She was always cheerful and full of vitality - always willing to have a good laugh about some of the eccentric donations that we found.I used to look forward to seeing her every week in the basement of Mooredale House. We kept in touch until quite recently. I feel as if a light has gone out in the world but maybe it is shining somewhere else.

Woke early this morning to the devastating news of Joy's desth. I remember Joy and David from many, fun tennis found-robins at ghe Granite Club. Since the loss of both her beloved son and husband, Joy would occasionally appear at the Granite's duplicate briege games. Her beautiful smile and bubbling personality were infectious. I will not forget you, Joy.
