To the Owen Watt family. Please accept the sincere condolences expressed by the Ottawa members of the Canadian Fighter Pilots' Association. I think I can speak for all of us at the AntiCoagulant Clinic here at Sunnybrook in saying how saddened we are to hear of Mr.Watt's death. It was a priviledge to know him and to help care for him over these many years. To me personally, he embodied what Winston Churchill said, that "Never has so much been owed by so many, to so few" Bill Bartle,PharmD.

Please accept our sincere condolences to the Watt Family. We share such fond memories of our times many years ago at the cottage on Lake of Bays and our boat rides with Owen. We also remember so well Owen visiting us at our cottage in Sauble Beach, arriving in his convertible and playing rounds of golf with our Dad Peter. Condolences also to Lynda Millard and family. May our thoughts and fond memories of you be with you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Beth, Bryan and Mary-Ann Maltby

My thoughts are with all of you and especially Aunt Irene as you say good-bye to Owen. I certainly have memories of Owen dating back my whole life at Lake of Bays - I know he was a good friend to both my parents. I'm sure Wendy will be there on Thursday as our family representative (I am in Vancouver) and give you our condolences in person. And I know, if Mom was able, she would be there too to give you a hug and say good-bye to Owen. xoxo Janet

Some of our fondest memories of Uncle Owen were at Birch Haven. I swear he had the fastest speedboat that I had ever been on and he took us trolling for lake trout and I caught the biggest fish in the world. I am in my senior years now and I still think of those glorious summer days. Our deepest condolences to the Millard family. Robbie, Ricky and Debbie Reid

I remember Mr. Watt very well when I was growing up and in the summers spent most of the time with his daughter, Lynda, at their cottage which was just a few doors from ours. I wish the best for the whole family and will continue to remember them all in my prayers.

I remember Owen as one of the icons of Lake of Bays when the Thom Family was growing up! He was fun, gentle but definitely a giant! I know that we may have lost touch with some of the Watt and McBride Family members over the years but memories of those summer days on Lake of Bays remain strong and clear. Our love and support to all of you during these difficult days. May you find comfort in the love and strength of family and friends Patti xo
